SCALING THE MOUNTAIN

     Today I leave for Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. It is known as the “Roof of Afrika” and is the tallest mountain there.  Many people ask why I am taking this amazing journey. Sometimes you have to give yourself great mountains to climb in order to establish a new base to live from. It is always about moving forward…and beyond where you have been.
     You do not literally have to climb a mountain unless that is what you need to inspire yourself. So often dreams and aspirations can seem like mountains in the distance, great massive ones that seem impossible to undertake. You have two choices:

  1. Back off of your dreams and settle for less than you deserve.
  2. Set a goal and do something that is even bigger to lessen the intensity of what you feel is hanging over the other things.
  3. Push yourself beyond the upper limits you currently live by. 

It is basically moving beyond who you believe yourself to be. It is about taking chances on yourself…being the strength, perseverance, courage, and tenacity that you have been waiting for. It is accomplishing something totally for yourself and no one else to have the confidence and motivation to undertake any other ‘mountain’ that shows up in your life.
     We are all spiritual beings that make up a Oneness of consciousness, but within this experience we all must travel alone to discover who we really are spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, and creatively. Through the discovery of how you undertake obstacles, handle stress, experience life, and receive goodness – you come to realize the purpose and meaning of your existence. You develop character and personality.
    Through a new sense of individuality, you may approach society from the perspective of your integral piece of consciousness that makes up the totality of the ‘oneness’ of all.
     What is your mountain you have to climb? Do you want more success? Do you want to be your own boss? Are you ready for a new career? Do you want a joyful loving relationship? Do you want to gain or lose weight? Do you desire bettter health and well being? Are you planning on re-creating who you are? Are you looking to live differently? Do you want to change your life? Well how do you do that?
     What is the one thing that would be challenging for you? Allow it to be something you really want but do not see how it might be possible. Allow it to be an experience that you crave and know on some level you can accomplish. However, it would require you to be committed. And…just do it.

  1. Set a date.
  2. Develop a plan of action.
  3. Create benchmarks.
  4. Establish a point of completion.
  5. Create a reward for the finish.
  6. Reflect on who you have been and who you have become in accomplishing this new goal.

     So often the milestones and mountains in life are those we create. We are each capable of anything we put our mind to. It is up to the individual to choose how they want to live life, what type of experiences that allows, and the vision that unfolds. Take a chance on being larger than you see yourself in this moment. Know that you have everything you need to be the greatest possible version of yourself.  Demand of yourself to be happy, joyful, excited, and ALIVE.
All you have to do is…
Believe…Beyond the Illusion!!!
